And here's the colored version!

Metal textures were found on royalty free sites via google.

Lynn is mine.
Armor/Weapon design belongs to Arena.Net.

EDIT: Jesus, this looks so much lighter on my cintiq. Man, I need to get one of those cool color calibrator thingies.

This reminds me of Sigfried from Soulcalibur. I like it.

Great job she looks awesome. Advice though. Full plate armor is a death trap its too heavy. Especially when you use a great sword. I could have one of my warriors knock her down and shell be like a turtle on its back.

Thanks. :) Yeah, logistically I totally agree. This was a Guild Wars 2 piece so that's all stuff you find in that game. Not to mention... Lynn being the size she is probably couldn't even lift that sword nor would its hilt support its weight without snapping. Haha.

Thanks for the advice and comment!

I have never played gears of war to be honest. You are welcome for the advice though.

I have tried swinging a great sword once. Damn those things are heavy.

Have you ever heard of fishnet armor. The Samurais used it as their chainmail. It was fishnet made of steel.

No, I haven't! I'll have to look it up. :)

Sweet. Its what I prefer for my warriors. Not as effective against arrows as chainmail but its more mobile than chainmail and its lighter to.

You have done a great job with the... "textures"

Thanks! It was a mix of warped metal surface textures on overlays, lighting and some free hand etching to try and get it all to look right.
